Bonnie McGuckin

for Bellmawr Council

A proud 53-year resident of Bellmawr, Bonnie McGuckin is deeply rooted in the community she is now running to serve on the Borough Council. She and her husband of 26 years raised their two children in the borough, seeing them through Bellmawr public schools and to graduation from Triton High School. During those years, Bonnie actively supported local students and educators by serving as the Vice President of the Bell Oaks Middle School PTO. As a proud military mother to her son Austin, who currently serves in the U.S. Army, and a devoted dog mom of two, Bonnie understands the true meaning of family and service. If elected, she is passionately committed to protecting the health and safety of all residents—especially children and seniors—and will fight tirelessly to ensure Bellmawr's neighborhoods remain safe, strong, and thriving.

Blake Przybyszewski

for Bellmawr Council

A resident of Bellmawr for 29 of his 30 years, Blake Przybyszewski's roots run deep in the community, having grown up in the classrooms of Bellmawr Park Elementary and Bell Oaks Middle School. As the dedicated, full-time caretaker for his physically disabled mother and three disabled brothers, Blake understands the profound importance of fiercely advocating for the vulnerable. This protective drive naturally extends to the entire town, recently leading him to successfully rally the community to prevent a mass influx of sex offenders from entering Bellmawr. Deeply committed to keeping the community whole, Blake is also a staunch advocate for local affordability, fighting to ensure that no family is ever forced to move away and leave their loved ones behind. Balancing these community efforts with studies for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Blake is running for council to bring tireless dedication, practical problem-solving, and fierce, protective compassion to all the families of Bellmawr.

Policies

Our Policies

Our promises to you starting Day 1 when we are elected!

Honest Government and Open Doors

Bellmawr residents deserve a government that works for them—not behind closed doors. We will increase transparency by limiting non-public executive sessions to only what is legally required, keeping them brief, and ensuring residents can return to meetings promptly. We will also advocate for hosting meetings via Zoom. This will allow residents who can’t attend to ask questions live—a procedure that has already been implemented by the Camden County Commissioners.

Safe, Reliable, and Local Water

Clean water isn’t political—it’s essential. We are committed to protecting Bellmawr’s water supply by addressing contamination concerns head-on and investing in long-term solutions to improve water quality. We oppose selling off our water system, specifically Bellmawr Water, to outside corporations and believe it should remain locally controlled, publicly accountable, and focused on residents—not profits.

Cleaner Streets, Smarter Services

Residents deserve a town that looks cared for and runs efficiently. We will modernize Bellmawr’s trash and recycling system by addressing collection issues, reducing street litter, and exploring solutions like covered containers. We’ll also evaluate scheduling to make trash and recycling pickup more convenient, saving residents time while keeping our neighborhoods clean.

Strong Local Economy: Supporting Small Business & Smart Growth

A thriving Bellmawr starts with smart economic development. We will hold large corporations accountable to long-term commitments that benefit our community—not short-term gains. At the same time, we will champion small businesses by cutting unnecessary red tape, lowering barriers to entry, and making it easier for local entrepreneurs to succeed. When small businesses grow, Bellmawr grows.
